Lhasa to Kathmandu Mountain Bike Tour

With the average altitude of about four thousand kilometers, Tibet has become the hot tourist destination for travelers in the world. Day One: Kathmandu Arrival

When you arrive at the airport in Kathmandu, the local tour guide will pick you up and drive to your hotel immediately. The day is free for you. Have a good rest.

Day Two: Kathmandu Tour

Today you will have one day tour in Kathmandu.

Attractions: Durbar Square, Pashupati Nath, Swayambunath, and Buddha Nath.

Day Three: Lhasa Arrival

In the morning, you will take a direct flight to Lhasa from Kathmandu. If the weather is fine, you can see the stunning peak of Mt Everest. When you arrive in Lhasa, the local tour guide will take you to the hotel. The day is free for you.

Day Four: Lhasa Tour

Lhasa is a must-see city in Tibet. Today you will have one day tour in Lhasa city. You can visit some famous Tibetan attractions.

Attractions: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street

Day Five: Lhasa Tour  

Your tour guide will guide you to visit some other places in Lhasa city. In the morning, you will visit the Summer Palace – Norbulingka Park. Then, you will be taken to visit the splendid Drepung Monastery. After lunch, your tour guide will take you to witness the hot Buddhism Debate in Sera Monastery.

Day Six: Cycling to Chusul from Lhasa

After several days’ acclimation to the high altitude sickness, you can start your real cycling tour from Lhasa to Kathmandu. Start from Drepung Monastery, and arrive in  Chusul.

Day Seven: Cycling to Nagatse from Chusul

Attractions along the way: Kamba La Pass, and Yamdrok Lake.

Day Eight: Cycling to Gyantse from Nagatse
